Such a lot of beauty, hand-made and found. Here are some samples from the Look-Sey.blog treasuries of worldwide products listed on Etsy shop US (click to link). Etsy offers creatives the opportunity to profile and sell their work, and for us all to have an opportunity to purchase something a little less ordinary.
Please take a look at my current fav's. Lets encourage people who's desire is to make and source lovely things for the rest of us (but don't force us to smash open our piggy banks in the process.)
Aloha!
ReplyDeleteI just checked out your top link on Etsy and the knitted poofes reminded me of some chunky knitted stools i saw (and coveted) in Zizzi in The Light in Leeds only yesterday, there's a small picture of them here: http://www.leedsguide.co.uk/review/food-review/zizzis-the-light-leeds-review/18790
I love the knitting / weaving / thread motif that is carried through the interior design and rises up from the seat backs... very cool.
if you find out who those stools are by let me know!
Sure Becs its http://www.etsy.com/listing/81455886/new-large-knit-pouf-lace-not-stuffed and there are also medium-sized ones in blues. They are a good price, and come without stuffing from the US. If you are going to make a bean-bag inner those things are STATICKY so best use a paper funnel!! Mum's tip.
ReplyDeleteI found the restaurant stools here: http://www.claireanneobrien.com/index.php?/work/knit-stools/
