Taking home on the road

Ah bonjour

What can possibly be the reason for such a lapse in blog-munication…something life-changing surely would be the only explanation to a design-hungry public… mais oui, in the words of Bridget Jones “MIT BEBE”. Indeed we have been blessed with the very definition of a bouncing baby boy and as you can imagine I have been very happy to devote all my attention to him since he joined us in the world.
However my hands have not been entirely without creative output (aside from finger puppets), my new product range is travelling to market...literally.

The new KatyCasey range of camper and caravan soft-furnishings for the homemaker who likes to take home on the road. The product range is heavily influenced by my childhood sweet-smelling, brown and orange hued, card gaming haven- our Sprite Muskateer caravan. The colour palette and shapes used, draw from the late seventees-early eightees, with key fabrics and colours from this era being blended with more contemporary accents for a less kitsch more cool range.

Please browse the growing collection here and at katycasey.co.uk, items are available in limited number which ensures your van will remain as individual as you are. Should you like a design but have specific colours in-mind, I can source upcycled and new fabrics at a ‘tweaked’ price point- though not the sort to make you gasp. Just ask, and I can find something to suit you. I will add products to the blog as they form so keep a weather eye. Price start from £20, with offers for keeping the created pairs together so e-mail me at lookseyblog@gmail.com for details/order queries.

To add, don’t feel excluded if you currently don’t have a wheel-ed crash-pad, we are saving-up too and our home is the more permanent expression of those precious memories. As such, whether your chair be vintage or poang, they would welcome the aesthetic too.
